Landscape Preservation Camouflage

In response to Law 4178/2013, which normalizes the erasure of natural landscape, we propose Annex 60, a Landscape Preservation Legislation for Sites of Significant Natural Beauty, to solve the conflict between touristic development and the integrity/identity of the Greek landscape. Camouflage Preservation is the deployment of a range of technologies, mostly military in origin, aimed at customizing buildings to their surrounding landscapes. We have chosen the Saladi Hotel, an abandoned behemoth in the Peloponesos as a case study for these technologies.
